The Feast of Unleavened Bread (Part 1)

April 22nd, was the day Yeshua (Jesus) was crucified on the cross. It was the day he sacrificed his life for ours. For Bible reading, read Matthew 27. I thank Yeshua for giving his life for ours. Thank you Yeshua!

The evening of April 22nd (at sunset) started the Feast of Unleavened Bread. I am so excited to be celebrating this for the first time in my life. I am excited to observe the feast God (Yahweh) wants us all to observe.

The Feast of Unleavened Bread first happened in the Old Testament after the Hebrews were freed from slavery in Egypt. In the Old
Testament the Feast of Unleavened Bread represented leaving Egypt in triumph, being freed from slavery, and looking forward to the Promised Land. Today, the Feast of Unleavened Bread represents accepting Yeshua, Christian's being no longer slaves to sin, and looking forward to eternal life in God's Kingdom.

The Feast of Unleavened Bread has two simple rules and that is to get rid of any leaven that is in your home and not to eat foods that contain leaven. Leaven represents sin during this Seven Day Feast.
